His short legacy, love and light will forever be in our hearts and he will be missed on our team. He was only 4 months old at the time and the current owner due to health issues, coudln’t keep him and didn’t want him to goto the pound. A training walk, is a one hour session with a trainer, where the focus is not just on taking a walk, but incorporates basic obedience commands during the walk process. It is also a great way to give your dog periodic booster training after your initial training investment. You dont want your dogs training to fall behind, and for some, it is hard to keep up with it as diligently as you should to maintain training and commands. Commands that are learned include but are not limited to : Sit, Heel, Down, Place and Threshold / Barrier Allowances. NOT ALL commands are learned in a single walk, typically we work on mastering at least one or two commands in a given walk, but it is not unusual for many commands to be utilized during a single walk to establish an overall program of what your dog should do over time. Best results come from multiple walks being done to condition your dog to the new or corrected behaviors.
