      <image:title>About Marko</image:title>
<image:caption>A Dog Groomer since the age of 16, Grooming Salon owner and manager in cities across the US, and Pet Handler for over 30 years! Marko began his start in the dog world as a dog grooming apprentice at the age of 16. He learned from groomers and handlers who were AKC show trainers / handlers and gained much knowledge at the early start of his career in dog grooming. After getting his first puppy at the age of 19, and allowing her (Ashley) to be the super spoiled puppy she was, Marko decided to put her through a puppy training course. This was a magical moment for him, because it was then that he learned the joys of dog training and what a difference it makes in the home, and in his relationship with his dog. He got his second poodle (Prancer) right here in the Coachella Valley area, and took him to the Palm Springs Police dept to participate in a class led by Dan LaMasters. Marko Learned yet another style and approach to training dogs. Marko’s Experience in working with dogs both in shop and out of the shop has been VERY valuable in his ability to read and understand dogs in situations. Marko does not train under the concept of “ONE SIZE FITS ALL” but rather, custom creates and navigates your dogs training to suit the needs of you and your dog.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Our Dog Assistants - Dakota</image:title>
<image:caption>Dakota , forever in our hearts, was lost February 28,2025 due to illness of unknown nature. His short legacy, love and light will forever be in our hearts and he will be missed on our team. He came to us by way of a Board and Train that turned into a change for for the owner that left him unable to safely keep him. He was only 4 months old at the time and the current owner due to health issues, coudln’t keep him and didn’t want him to goto the pound. We started out working his training and quickly fell in love with him, and decided he needed to be a part of our team. Dakota specializes in social work with puppies. He is great with helping dogs who are afraid to play with other dogs, as he has a submissive but out going play style that works and helps them develop their confidence in play. He is also our model dog for AKC Obedience Training and E-Collar Work. In just a short period of time, he has grown and learned alot. We certainly love him and see him as a great asset to our team of pups.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Training Walks - What are Training Walks?</image:title>
<image:caption>A training walk, is a one hour session with a trainer, where the focus is not just on taking a walk, but incorporates basic obedience commands during the walk process. It is also a great way to give your dog periodic booster training after your initial training investment. You dont want your dogs training to fall behind, and for some, it is hard to keep up with it as diligently as you should to maintain training and commands. Commands that are learned include but are not limited to : Sit, Heel, Down, Place and Threshold / Barrier Allowances. NOT ALL commands are learned in a single walk, typically we work on mastering at least one or two commands in a given walk, but it is not unusual for many commands to be utilized during a single walk to establish an overall program of what your dog should do over time. Best results come from multiple walks being done to condition your dog to the new or corrected behaviors. If you are doing booster walks after your training, your dog will review and work on ALL commands learned during their training sessions and will learn new commands or training levels as they are able to. TRAINING WALKS ARE NOT AVAILABLE DURING EXTREME WEATHER however these sessions are covered to indoor training activity sessions indoors.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Training Walks - Why Training Walks?</image:title>
<image:caption>Walking your dogs is one of the best ways to quickly establish a relationship with your dog as its guide and guardian in your relationship with them. They learn to accept your direction as their security and protection, get exercise that is essential to their training program, learn socialization and how to become less sensitive of sounds such as Cars passing by, Fire Engine sounds etc. For Many dogs, the WALK is the foundation to their acceptance of YOU as their leader / guardian. By engaging in training walks, it also allows you dog the opportunity to learn that no matter who has the other end of the leash, they should behave the same due to the walks we give, and the on going walks you provide afterwards.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Training Walks - How do we Start?</image:title>
<image:caption>If you would like to get started with Training walks, the first step is to SET UP A WALK COSULT. ( Available in the Coachella Valley and Surrounding areas ). <image:title>Day Training Reviews - “We had a wonderful experience with Marko, and Lucky Dog Training from start to finish. I came across some advertisement on Facebook. They seemed have the knowledge and love to deal with our young, energetic rescue pup. We had a newborn on the way and needed to make sure she could calm down and listen to basic commands in order to protect our baby and make her feel secure. He was always on time, Kona responded very well to him. He gave us the tools to continue training even after our time with him was over. He kindly checks in and make's sure Kona is still doing well even after our sessions with him have ended. We really appreciated everything he did for us and our dog..”</image:title>

<image:title>Day Training Reviews - “My husband Greg saw Marko training another Goldendoodle and was so impressed with the dog obedience, we knew we wanted his help with our own puppy Doodle. He came to our office to meet us and talk about our problem areas. He is very knowledgeable about dogs, and He listened to our concerns, was very attentive towards Doodle, and her first interaction with him was great! I was looking for a trainer that would give more than just dos and don'ts ... Lucky Dog Training gives us exactly what we were looking for... He has always made himself available and worked with us and our schedules. We are all so happy to have new friends Marko and Lucky.. Because of them we now have a great dog Doodle.” Our family is extremely grateful not only for the dog training and friendship, but also in my interaction with doodle.. It all plays a part in the overall training and outcome.. We are very satisfied and happy with the training and knowledge we have received from Luck Dog Training.”</image:title>

<image:title>Day Training Reviews - I was refered to you. I spoke to you and i felt you were very on point with everything. Also i can tell you are a dog lover and pepper sure loves you! It’s was easy, you came to the house to get pepper and dropped her off when you were done. Lessons were great. After he trained her, then we were taught to work with pepper to keep it consistent. Very helpful! Lucky dog training is exactly that! Your dog is lucky is it is trained by MarKo.</image:title>

<image:title>Day Training Reviews - Max became a much more manageable dog. The sessions showed him boundaries and all areas of need became less and more manageable. Max is now much more attentive to directions. Marko is a great trainer. He doesn't just take your money and leave. Each day Marko stayed and talked about each session. When something wasn't working he would change tactics and teach us how to handle Max. Example. My kids couldn't walk him without him bitting the leash or jumping on the kids. Marko literally took time to teach my wife and two boys how to indivually walk him. Each person had different issues with Max that needed to be fixed. Marko is also exceptional in that he really went out of his way to help us work with him in various situations. Max is scary around strangers so Marko would meet us in different locations to teach him in various environments. Soccer games, dog park. Parks, restaurants. I was amazed how Marko would meet us at times that fit our busy schedules. I don't think other trainers would give this kind of attention to each dog.</image:title>
